Privacy Policy

This site is run by Mahalo Mochi LLC, which is responsible for the data described here. Write to aloha@mahalomochi.com with any question or request.

This policy covers the Mahalo Mochi pages of mahalomochi.com. Resolutely and Then & Now have their own policies, for their apps and their pages here: Resolutely and Then & Now. Those pages never load Google Analytics.

If you choose Allow, Google Analytics loads and counts your visit: the pages you view, how you arrived, and your rough location, device and browser. Google provides it for us as a service provider. We've turned off Google signals and advertising features, so this data isn't used to show you ads. If you choose Decline, or don't choose, it never loads and no cookies are set.

We ask again after a year. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no and don't ask.

These aren't cookies and never leave your device. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.

• Your answer to the cookie question, so we don't ask on every page.
• Light or dark mode, if you pick one.
• The numbers you enter in Rent or Buy, so they're there when you come back.

• Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, its servers see your IP address and browser details for each request and keep short-lived logs to run and protect the site.
• The Greater Seattle map loads its map software from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and its map images from CARTO. If you search for an address, what you type is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to find it.
• If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply, and delete them on request.

These companies may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

In the EU, UK and similar places, you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, object to or limit how it's used, and withdraw consent at any time (the switch above). We rely on your consent for analytics, and on our legitimate interest in running a working, secure site for hosting logs and the map. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

In California and other US states, you can ask what we hold, have it corrected or deleted, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Email aloha@mahalomochi.com and we'll reply within a month.

This site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, the new version goes here with a new date at the top.
